Decks from the 2020 MN Residential Code (7 hours includes 1 energy hour and 1 business hour)

Decks from the 2020 MN Residential Code will bring you into a new era with regards to designing decks. Most of the challenges with deck design required calculating loads and carrying them to the structural frame and foundation. The 2020 MN Residential code relies on charts and tables to easily guide you through the structural requirements for your deck designs. We will work through several deck designs to help reinforce your learning. In the required Business Management session, we will discuss the essential functions of the common financial statements, and will spend an hour on the Mechanical Section of the MN Energy Code. (7 hours)DLI APPROVED
